Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture (PA)

Monamid is non-absorbable, sterile, monofilament surgical suture consisting of long-chained aliphatic polymer chains also known as nylon 6 or nylon 6.6. Monamid surgical sutures are coloured indigo and black to increase visibility on tissue. Monamid are also available colourless. Monamid sutures complies with all requirements of American and European Pharmacopeia for non-absorbable sutures.

Monamid sutures are used in general soft tissue coating and bonding of cardiovascular, ophthalmic, or neuro surgical applications.

Monamid sutures are manufactured with or without stainless steel needle, between USP 10/0 – USP 2 range, and with various lengths between 10cm to 150cm.
