Monoprolene – Non-Absorbable Brain and Neurosurgery Suture is a monofilament, non-absorbable, synthetic surgical suture made from the isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene. Its sterile structure ensures safe use in delicate surgical procedures. Monoprolene is available in blue or black to enhance visibility in the surgical field. This suture, characterized by high knot security and low tissue reaction, is preferred in neurosurgical procedures where preservation of nerve structures is vital.

Monoprolene sutures, manufactured in specialized sizes and specifications for neurosurgery, meet the need for stable and precise sutures by preserving tissue integrity for extended periods in neurosurgery. Also used successfully in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and general soft tissue applications, these sutures are available in thicknesses ranging from USP 10/0 to USP 2 and in lengths ranging from 13 cm to 150 cm. Equipped with a stainless steel needle, they adapt to surgeons’ every surgical need.
